AUGUST 2016
Pic on the Right: first day with @msjackiefitness weighting 190 lbs pic on the left last Tuesday at 179 lbs (down another 2 lbs since) So I wanted to start off this testimonial with something that even Jackie doesn’t know, in September of 2015 at 220 lbs I wanted to get in shape, start working out, and really focus on my health. I’ve known Jackie for over 15 years and I started watching her workouts and paying attention to her post and decided I want her to help me on this journey. But I was intimidated big time. I was over weight, out of shape, and nervous. I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of her or others so I decided to try and work out on my own, lose some weight , get into some kind of shape and then go to her. So finally in March of 2016 I finally got serious and really begin working out. I was going to the gym and working out 2.5-3.5 hours a day 3-4 times a week. I saw some progress I lost some weight and I thought I was in shape, finally after getting stuck and going back and forth between 190-195 I finally contacted Jackie and started working with @msjackiefitness on June 21st, 2016. I remember my first class like it was yesterday. I almost passed out, she kicked my butt. Honestly I wish I would have put my male ego aside and started working with her in September 2015 instead of trying to “get in shape” for her class, because in 3 short months she got me over the hump and a weight I couldn’t break on my own. She got me leaner, stronger, and healthier and she did it in the 1 hour classes vs. the 2.5-3.5 hours I was spending at the gym doing it on my own. When I was working out on my own I kept doing the same workouts and cardio exercises over and over so eventually I plateaued I wasn’t getting shredded I just looked like a chubby guy that was sorta in shape. Working with her I’ve been able to shed 11 lbs and gained lean muscle and actually got cut. She constantly is changing her workouts, she helps you on doing the right form and really helps you work out smarter and more efficiently. She is one of the smartest, most humble people I know, and thats what makes her such a great trainer because, she doesn’t let egos get in the way.
